A native of Egypt, Ahmed Zaki, has been with the Fouad
Mounib Egyptian Dancers as lead drummer for the past 20
years. He is known for his vibrant and energetic style of the
fine art of Arabic percussion.
Ahmed had been playing the drums since he was 9 years old.
While growing up in Egypt, he played in school concerts and
various musical events. He regularly performs with his wife,
Azza Mounib, as well as Arabic Hafalas, weddings, parties,
and workshops.
Ahmed teaches classes and workshops in Middle Eastern
