Azza’s classes focus on teaching the various styles of belly dancing, also known as Raks Sharki or Raks Sharqi. She teaches authentic Egyptian belly dancing, the way it’s taught, learned and danced in Egypt. Azza Mounib offers belly dancing lessons and belly dancing classes in Virginia, Marlyand, and Washington, DC.

Beginners
Each session should be repeated AT LEAST TWICE , in order to master the fluidity, gracefulness, and suppleness of the dance movements.

Intermediate
Level III A(1,2,3)/B(1,2,3)/C(1,2,3)/D(1,2,3)

Level III, the intermediate level, focuses on learning different dance combinations, including folk and cabaret.
Students will explore more in depth Middle Eastern rhythms and learn to interpret different kinds of music, such as
heavy beledi beat, classical Egyptian, folk as well as cabaret style. There will be lots of dancing in these classes.
Prerequisite Level II A/B
Level IV A(1,2,3)/B(1,2,3)/C(1,2,3)/D(1,2,3)

Level IV, the intermediate level. Level III should be taken at least two or three times before level IV. You should
have a good solid foundation of the dance of all previous levels, and all transitions and turns, combinations, before
entering this level. In this class various advanced dance combinations as well as improvisations and more of hands
on dancing. Continue to work on music awareness and different methods of stage entrance and exists. Introduction
to shimmies and drum solos. Stage awareness and audience acknowledgements. Prerequisite All Level III
