The Mounib family has a long history in the Egyptian entertainment that dates back to 1920.
Fawzi Mounib was one of Egypt’s theater pioneers, who introduced the silent movies to the
Egyptian theater, as well as directed and played in many theatrical plays.
Mary Mounib was named the “Empress of Comedy”, was know for her comical stereotype roll of
a mother-in-law whom you would love to hate.
Fouad Mounib, hosted a weekly game show in Egypt called “Maa El Nass” which means with
the people. For many years, Fouad Mounib was the Master of Ceremony for the Annual
Television Festival.
Amr Mounib’s talent leis in photography. Though Amr has been the lead male dancer in the
troupe, he found his passion for photography at an early age, that made him turn it into full time
job.
Azza Mounib, completes the Mounib’s legacy with her dancing. She has been dancing for
almost 29 years, as well as teaching and coaching dancers throughout their dance careers.
Amer Mounib, is a well know pop singer in Egypt, Amer has made many CDs , his first hit CD
was "Awel Hob". Amer also made a several movies, starting with the the well known romantic
film "Seher el Ayoon" which means "the magic of the eyes".
Ahmed Zaki joined the Mounib family in 1984. Family rumor has it, that Azza married Ahmed
cause she fell in love with his drumming. Will we ever know?
